History
Gouren is the traditional wrestling of Brittany, in western France, related to Cornish wrestling across the Channel. Wrestlers wear a shirt (roched) and short trousers and grip only the shirt.
A fall is a "lamm": both shoulders touching the ground at the same time. Before the bout wrestlers swear an oath of loyalty. The FALSAB federation, founded in 1930, organised gouren as a modern sport.
