Why it matters
“Heroes of the East” is a 1978 film directed by Lau Kar-leung (Hong Kong). Starring Gordon Liu. It belongs to kung fu cinema’s golden decade, when Hong Kong studios such as Shaw Brothers and Golden Harvest took Chinese martial arts to the world.
