Biografia
Suahm Dosa foi um monge coreano, mestre dos irmãos Joo Bang Lee e Joo Sang Lee, criadores do Hwa Rang Do. «Dosa» é um título, não um nome — algo como «sábio eremita».
A história
A partir de 1942 educou os irmãos Lee no templo Sogwangsa, na província de Kangwon. Dizia praticar uma tradição com raízes nos antigos hwarang, a que chamava Um-Yang Kwon. A Wikipédia nota que não sobrevivem registos da arte marcial dos hwarang.
Segundo a família Lee, mudou-se depois para o monte Odae. Morreu em 1968 e deixou a Joo Bang Lee o título de «Do Ju».

Biography
Suahm Dosa was a Korean monk who taught the brothers Joo Bang Lee and Joo Sang Lee, the creators of Hwa Rang Do. “Dosa” is a title, not a name — roughly “hermit sage expert”.
The story
From 1942 he educated the Lee brothers at Sogwangsa Temple in Kangwon Province. He claimed to practise a tradition rooted in the ancient hwarang, which he called Um-Yang Kwon. Wikipedia notes that no records of the hwarang's martial art survive.
According to the Lee family, he later moved to Odae Mountain. He died in 1968 and left the title of “Do Ju” to Joo Bang Lee.

Suahm Dosa fue un monje coreano, maestro de los hermanos Joo Bang Lee y Joo Sang Lee, creadores del Hwa Rang Do. «Dosa» es un título, no un nombre: algo como «sabio ermitaño».
La historia
Desde 1942 educó a los hermanos Lee en el templo Sogwangsa, en la provincia de Kangwon. Decía practicar una tradición con raíces en los antiguos hwarang, a la que llamaba Um-Yang Kwon. Wikipedia señala que no se conservan registros del arte marcial de los hwarang.
Según la familia Lee, se trasladó después al monte Odae. Murió en 1968 y dejó a Joo Bang Lee el título de «Do Ju».

L'histoire
À partir de 1942, il éduqua les frères Lee au temple Sogwangsa, dans la province de Kangwon. Il affirmait pratiquer une tradition remontant aux anciens hwarang, qu’il appelait Um-Yang Kwon. Wikipédia note qu’aucune trace de l’art martial des hwarang n’a survécu.
