A história
O Instituto de Esgrima Buddhaisawan liga-se ao templo Buddhaisawan de Ayutthaya, onde os monges ensinavam a esgrima tailandesa. Sumai Mesamana dirigiu a versão moderna do instituto até à morte, em 1998.

Led the Buddhaisawan Sword Fighting Institute, the main modern school of krabi-krabong, until his death in 1998.
The story
The Buddhaisawan Sword Fighting Institute traces itself to the Buddhaisawan temple in Ayutthaya, where monks taught Thai swordsmanship. Sumai Mesamana led the modern institute until his death in 1998.
His son, Pramote Mesamana, carried on the work and says the art has passed from father to son in the family since the Ayutthaya period.
